Pacers

Jacques

Pacer: 1hr30

Years as an ASICS pacer for the 21k: 3 years – 2016-2018

A bit about Jaques: I was a pace bunny for the half marathon in 2016, and I loved my experience. It is with great pleasure that I will be back again this year to encourage runners who are aiming for a time of 1h30. Running with a group is a great source of pleasure for both participants and the pace bunny. Good luck everyone.

Luc

Pacer: 1hr40

Years as an ASICS pacer for the 21k: 7 years – 2012-2018

A bit about Luc: I paced my first Banque Scotia 21k de Montreal in 2012 and it is with great pleasure that I repeat the experience each year ever since. You can rest assured, I will motivate you and cheer so that we reach our goal together. The most important thing is to have fun, I will make sure to pull a few jokes to make you forget about the kilometers separating us from the finish.

Pacer : 1hr45

Years as an ASICS pacer for the 21k : 3 years – 2016-2018

Marie-Eve

Pacer: 1hr50

Years as an ASICS pacer for the 21k: 7 years – 2012-2018

A bit about Marie-Eve: Being small, I’m asked every year if this is the first time I’ve paced, if I’ll be able to keep the pace, and so on.  Given my size, I hold my pacer sign with my pace time at arm’s length, well in the air!  With the wind, sometimes my arm shakes, the sign folds and I need to hold it with both hands!  For the third year in a row, I will be doing the Boston Marathon on Monday and the Banque Scotia 21k de Montreal on Sunday.

Marie-Pierre

Pacer: 2hr15

Years as an ASICS pacer: 3 years – 2016-2018

A little bit about Marie-Pierre: I like to encourage and entertain the runners by adding some accessories to my outfit.  I’ve noticed with experience that my accessories have an impact on the encouragement of the spectators when we go by and gives our group the energy we need to finish strong! Only we can go fast, together we will go further. For the curious, you can see me in the video of singer Yann Perreau for the song HUMAINS at 2:03 min!

Nathalie

Pacer: 2hr30

Years as an ASICS pacer for the 21k: 6 years – 2013-2018

Post-Race Party Site

The awards will be presented on the stage, as well as the announcement of the total fundraising to-date.

Action Sport Physio is a proud partner of the Banque Scotia 21k de Montreal race. Its team of expert therapists will be stationed in the ASP tent to greet runners and provide with them with free care.
