Race Kit Pickup

Race Kit Pickup will be available for everyone taking part in the in-person event.

Thursday, March 30 – 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday, March 31 – 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. 

Picking up for a Friend? 

Please bring either their original Race Roster Registration Confirmation Email OR a text, e-mail, or hand-written note that states they allow you to pick up their race kit on their behalf.  

Participants in the Thaw-Out Thirteen will collect their race kit at Race Kit Pickup, and it will include their virtual race items. 

All virtual only participants will have their kit items mailed out to them. 

Give to Help End Hunger  

In collaboration with our partner charity, the Parkdale Community Food Bank, we will be collecting product donations during race kit pickup. Please consider contributing to aid in their mission to end food insecurity within the Parkdale/High Park community. 

What to Donate: 

Non Perishable Food, Hygiene, Baby & Pet Food Products such as: 

  1. Hot/Cold Cereal
  2. Canned or Dry Beans
  3. Dry Pasta & Pasta Sauce
  4. Canned Fruits & Veggies
  5. Treats! candy, cookies, dried fruit etc.
  6. Snacks! chips, crackers, granola bars etc.
  7. Baking products; flour, cake mix, oats etc.
  8. Dog/Cat food; dry in small packages or canned.  
  9. Baby products; formula, baby food, diapers, wipes
  10. Hygiene products; soap, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, incontinence products, menstrual products

Please Do Not: 

Donate expired items, donate open items, and donate items not found in the above categories.

  • “Canadian” is defined as: Citizens; Landed immigrants; and Refugees with official status who have been domiciled in Canada for at least one year (proof may be required).
  • Master defined as: athlete being 40 years old plus, day of event
  • Prize money winners in the Canadian and Masters categories can double dip and collect prizing in both categories, but collecting prize money in any one category removes you from winning an age category prize.
  • Virtual Race: There will be no assigned prizing for any Virtual Races.
  • 5K & 8K Age Categories: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
  • Men, Woman & Non-Binary based on chip time

Results will be reviewed for one week following the event. During these seven days, athletes are able to lodge a formal, written protest to the race director for review. After the week, results will be finalized, prizing cheques and age category prizing will be issued. Prize cheques will no longer be distributed on event day.

*Prize money winners in the Open, Canadian and Masters categories are not eligible to win an age category prize.

Claim Your Award

Participants have 30 days to claim any prizes. Please send an email to awards@canadarunningseries.com with your mailing address, age category and the place you came in. Your prize will be emailed out to you.
