Key Volunteers

We are looking for Key Volunteers to supervise other volunteers and manage key areas of the event! If you are a strong leader with event experience and are interested in this type of position, please apply below.

Food Area Supervisor

You will be managing a group of 20-30 volunteers with the goal of moving participants efficiently through the Post-Race Food Area. You will provide the volunteers with instruction on how the food area will operate and assign roles as needed. We are looking for individuals that can follow and execute plans and problem solve any issues that may arise.

A mandatory site visit prior to the event date is required for this position.

Party Site Water Station Manager

You will be responsible for a group of 5 volunteers who will be filling and re-stocking cups of water and Gatorade for runners after the race. This station is secondary to the larger Water Station at the Finish Line and is situated in the Post-Race Area. Tasks include assigning specific roles to volunteers, supervising the set-up of the area, ensuring adequate amounts of Water are available at all times, and assisting with clean-up.

Volunteer Check-in Manager

You will be responsible for setting up your check-in tent, checking in volunteers at your station, distributing tshirts and food to volunteers, maintaining a neat and organized work station, dismissing volunteers and signing off on their letters, as well as tear-down and clean-up. We are looking for individuals who are organized and reliable, independent, enthusiastic, and personable.

Volunteer Escort

You will be responsible for walking volunteers from their check-in location to where they will be stationed as volunteers. You will be provided with all the necessary documents (schedules, maps, contact names, etc.) to be able to do this quickly and efficiently. We are looking for individuals who are great motivators, enthusiastic, authoritative, and not afraid to use their voice!
