The finish line for the in-person race is on Cordova, between Abbot and Cambie.
Yes, participants using a wheelchair are welcome. The course restrictions for the use of a wheelchair are below, and are based on the capacity and safety of the race course.
• Recreational and push-rim wheelchairs are permitted
• Motorized wheelchairs are permitted in the event
o must not exceed a speed of 5km/hour
o must not exceed 40″ length x 30″ wide
• Handcycles are not permitted
• Participants will start in the corral associated with their estimated finish time selected during registration
Due to road closure and permit limitation we are unable to offer extended time allowances on the 10K course. For participants using an adaptive aid and expecting to finish the race in under 40 minutes, an early start time of up to 3 minutes may be requested – please contact us via email to learn more about this option.

Strollers are permitted for the In-Person 10K event. Please note, the individual in the stroller will not receive a finisher’s medal unless they are a registered participant and wearing a race bib.
When you register, you will have the option to purchase Enhancded Refund Protection for a small fee. This policy will cover you and allow you to cancel your registration if you are unable to make it to the race due to illness and various other reasons. Like all insurance policies there are exclusions, so please read the fine print. The insurance does not cover your entry fee if we are forced to cancel the event because of the pandemic or other extenuating circumstances.
We ask that anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 on race day stay at home and email info@canadarunningseries.com for their registration options.
Yes, participant transfers can be made until September 2nd at 11:59pm. There is a $10 administrative fee associated with all transfers.
