10K Age Category Awards:
- Men, Woman & Non-Binary based on chip time
- Categories include 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Results will be reviewed for one week following the event. During these seven days, athletes are able to lodge a formal, written protest to the race director for review. After the week, results will be finalized, prizing cheques and age category iTab Ribbon Hanger will be issued. Prize cheques will no longer be distributed on event day.
*Prize money winners in the Open, Canadian and Masters categories are not eligible to win an age category award.

Kill The Hill
Who are the best hill runners in Canada Running Series? Who will take the crown at this year’s Under Armour Eastside 10K? This year, the Under Armour Eastside 10K is bringing back a race within the race as we attempt to take the most feared part of the course and turn it into a (questionably) fun and memorable experience.
Since moving to our new Eastside 10K course a few of years ago, runners have been conquering a tedious mid-race hill from the bottom of Dundas Street to the very top of Pandora Park in the heart of East Vancouver. This year, we want you to ‘Kill the Hill’ and give it everything you’ve got over a gruelling 700m challenge!
Starting at the official Sportstats 5km timing mat, we will be offering a separate, complete set of results for the legendary hill which flanks the mid-way point of the 2022 Under Armour Eastside 10K course. For this specific segment, you’ll be able to compare your hill-running strength against Canadian stars, as well as your fellow run club and crew friends.
Generous prizes will be awarded to the top male and female. Visit the Sportstats tent at the post-race site after the race to see if you’re in the running to win.
Everyone who registers for the Under Armour Eastside 10K will be automatically entered into the challenge. Winners will be notified via email after the event.
All invited elite athletes will be included in the results but will not be eligible for prizing in the Kill the Hill Challenge.

Under Armour will match your winnings if you cross the finish-line and place in the top 5 at the 2022 Under Armour Eastside 10K wearing Under Armour running shoes.

Prize money will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place overall in the 10K in the respective categories of men/women.
Additional Masters prize money will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place overall in the 10K in the respective categories of men/women.
All prize money is restricted to registered participants of the in-person race (as defined below) and will be awarded based on gun time. Participants have 30 days to claim any prizes. For example, if an athlete places in 1st wearing Under Armour running shoes and wins $500. UA will add an additional $500 to the athlete’s winnings.
