Individuals who use pushrim wheelchairs are eligible for the wheelchair category.
Teams offer a powerful way for individuals to join together and raise funds collaboratively. We have three different types of teams.
1. Charity Challenge Fundraising Team
Participants can join an existing Charity Challenge Fundraising Team or create their own during registration. Charity Challenge Fundraising Teams can have any number of participants, and fundraise for one, or multiple, of our charity partners. Charity teams are a great way to support the charity of your choice as you complete your race!
2. General Team
Participants can join an existing General Team or create their own during registration. General Teams can have any number of participants.
3. Corporate Challenge Team
New this year we ahve Corporate Challenge Teams. These teams will have a minimum of 6 participants, they can participate in any of our three race distances, and can choose to fundraise for one, or multiple, of our charity partners. By forming a Corporate Challenge Team, your company will also receive exclusive perks such as a registration discount, group race kit pickup, company specific race bibs, and more. To get more information and to create one of these teams, please reach out to crswest@canadarunningseries.com
Yes! To purchase a race entry as a gift, please head to our registration page here, and locate the button, “Purchase a gift”.
From there, you’ll be able to purchase the number of entries you’d like to purchase, and the sub-event the registration is for.
If you want to participate with a friend, select the same finishing time during registration to put you in to the same corral. Please note this does not guarantee placement in the same corral.
The Impact Bib is a newer program, and we understand that participants may have made a mistake in their registration. We encourage all participants to closely consider their registration options to ensure they’re choosing their preferred option.
If you would like to switch into or out of the Impact Bib event so you receive the ASICS souvenir shirt, you can click here to transfer your registration to a different sub-event.
Please note, all transfers are subject to space availability, and changes may not be able to be made based on sell-outs or short time frame leading into race day.
Yes, toilets are located at the Start and Finish areas and on-course at water stations for all distances.
Unfortunately we have limited kids/youth size shirts and they are only available for the kids race.
Yes. International participants are welcome at our in-person events.
The Impact Bib Program gives participants the choice about whether to receive a race shirt as part of their race day experience. If a participant chooses the Impact Bib option, a donation will be made to a participating sustainability charity in lieu of a race shirt. On race day, your bib will have an Impact Bib logo on it to celebrate your choice!
At Canada Running Series, we’re always looking for ways to reduce our environmental Impact, and we want to provide our participants with that same ability. By offering the Impact Bib as a registration option, we allow our participants to have a choice about what they receive as part of their race experience.
Recreational, push rim & motorized wheelchairs (with a speed limit of no more than 5 km/hour) are allowed on course. Handcycles will not be permitted on course due to timing of course closures.
If you wish to participate with an assistive device not listed here, please contact us at crswest@canadarunningseries.com.
