Established in 1999, the Vancouver Half Marathon is one of Canada Running Series’ flagship events in Western Canada. Known for its scenic ocean-side routes and tremendous fundraising efforts in support of the Charity Challenge, this event attracts thousands of runners every year.
Whether you’re looking for a serious challenge or a fun activity for the whole family, the Vancouver Half Marathon will keep you moving. Participants can choose to run in-person or virtual options in the 21K, 5K, and 1K Kids Run or challenge themselves to complete our Threepeat Challenge (In-Person 21K + Virtual 10K + Virtual 5K). Featuring designs inspired by iconic West Coast landscapes & landmarks, all participants will receive an ASICS souvenir shirt, finisher’s medal & other race partner goodies.

Kids Run
The Vancouver Half Marathon Kids Run is a 1K event for kids ages 2 to 12.
- Children aged 2-5 years old should run with a parent.
- Children aged 6-12 years old are in a kids-only division.
- All Kids Run participants will receive a Finisher’s medal upon completion of the race. This is NOT a timed event.

In-Person 21k + Virtual 10K + Virtual 5K

Inputting Your Results
Participants will be able to input their distances and times from June 1st – 30th . Once you have completed your activity, you will track it on the Race Roster Results Platform by following these steps:
- Go to the Race Roster Results Platform
- Log in to your Race Roster account
- Click the ‘Post An Activity’ button
- Add your activity details
- Select ‘Submit Activity’
Race Kit Pickup
All participants in the in-person race must pick up their race kit at race kit pickup location: Forerunners – Main Street (3889 Main Street, Vancouver BC)

Are you signed up to run, but not sure of where to start for training?
The ASICS Runkeeper app is here to offer the support you need ahead of race day.
As part of your registration, ASICS will provide free access to the Runkeeper Go™ premium experience. The app features training plans and guided workouts led by ASICS running coaches. Additionally, users can easily set goals, train, and track their progress in the build-up to the event.
Put the worries of training aside and focus instead on the fun part of reaching your finish line!

- “Canadian” is defined as: Citizens; Landed immigrants; and Refugees with official status who have been domiciled in Canada for at least one year (proof may be required).
- BC defined as: BC athletics membership, or having domiciled in BC for 12 months and mailing address in BC.
- Master defined as: athlete being 40 years old plus, day of event.
- Half Marathon Age Categories: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
- 5K Age Categories: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
Prize money winners in the Open, Canadian and Masters categories can triple dip and collect prizing in all three categories, but collecting prize money in any one category removes you from winning an age category medal.
Don’t just win your prize, claim it! Participants have 30 days to claim any prizes. Please send an email to crswest@canadarunningseries.com with your mailing address, age category and the place you came in and your prize will be mailed out to you.
