The 21K de Montréal is Canada Running Series’ flagship event in Québec. This iconic race for Montréal’s vibrant running community is welcoming participants back to the scenic routes of Parc Jean-Drapeau in April 2023!
In 2022, participants raised over $610,258 for 45 charities through the Charity Challenge, and we have even bigger goals this year!
Participants of all levels are invited to experience the stunning scenery and tremendous energy of the 21K de Montréal. With all distances available virtually as well, participants can run their virtual race wherever they choose!

Start Time: 8:00 a.m.
The start line is located near Espace 67 on île Ste-Hélène. Participants will line up in seeded corrals based on the estimated finishing time selected during registration.

21K Course Restrictions
For the safety of all participants, baby carriers, skateboards, roller blades, Kangoo Jump shoes, animals and unauthorized bicycles and wheeled devices are not permitted in the race. The time limit to complete the 21K course is 3 hours (a pace of 8:32/km). Nordic Pole participants are welcome. Baby Strollers are welcome in the 5K event only. Register early, as stroller spots are limited.
If you wish to participate with a Support Person or Guide, you will register using the online registration system. Your guide has 2 options:
- The guide can participate in the event at no cost. Select the ‘Guide’ option on your registration form when it asks ‘Will you be participating with any of the following adaptive aids’. Enter the name of your guide and their email address. The guide will complete the event waiver and wear two “GUIDE” bibs, one on their front, and one on their back. When the participant picks up their race kit, they will receive the additional “GUIDE” bib(s).
- The guide can register individually and pay the full registration fee. They will receive the event shirt, bib with timing chip & finisher’s medal. They must wear the event “GUIDE” bib on their back.

Picking up for a Friend?
Please bring either their original Race Roster Registration Confirmation Email OR a text, e-mail, or hand-written note that states they allow you to pick up their race kit on their behalf.
3 Race Kit Maximum
Please note that each person will only be allowed to pick up 3 kits at Race Kit Pickup, including their own. If you want to pick up more than 3 kits, please plan to bring enough people that will allow you to each pick up 3.

The ASICS Runkeeper app is here to offer the support you need ahead of race day.
As part of your registration, ASICS will provide free access to the Runkeeper Go™ premium experience. The app features training plans and guided workouts led by ASICS running coaches. Additionally, users can easily set goals, train, and track their progress in the build-up to the event.
Put the worries of training aside, and focus instead on the fun part of reaching your finish line!

Half Marathon Age Category Awards:
- Men, Women & Non-Binary based on chip time
- Categories include 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
10K and 5K Age Category Awards:

Results will be reviewed for one week following the event. During these seven days, athletes are able to lodge a formal, written protest to the race director for review. After the week, results will be finalized, prizing cheques and age category iTab Ribbon Holders will be issued. Prize cheques will no longer be distributed on event day.
*Prize money winners in the Open, Canadian and Masters categories are not eligible to win an age category award.
