If I want to cancel my registration, what are my options?

When you register, you will have the option to purchase Enhanced Refund Protection for a small fee. This policy will cover you and allow you to cancel your registration if you are unable to make it to the race due to illness and various other reasons. Like all insurance policies there are exclusions so please read the fine print. The insurance does not cover your entry fee if we are forced to cancel the event because of the pandemic or other extenuating circumstances.

If I am experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 on race day, will I be issued a refund for not attending the in-person event?

Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. That means that once the money is received and accepted, participants will not receive a refund and will not be able to defer their entry to another year.
We ask that anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 on race day stay at home.
If you would like to receive your race kit, please have a friend or family member pick it up on your behalf. They must have your original Race Roster Registration Confirmation Email OR a text, e-mail, or hand-written note that states you allow them to pick up your race kit on your behalf. Race kits will not shipped or available for pickup after the race.

Can participants transfer between distances or virtual and in-person events?

Yes, transfers to another sub-event (distance) may be available, based on course restrictions. Transfers into a sold out sub-event (distance) will not be available.
*Please note that there is only one transfer available per registration, and transfers into a sold out distance are not possible.
To transfer your distance, visit and click the ‘Transfer’ button on the left hand menu.
There is a $10 transfer fee to transfer between events, plus any additional registration fee differences between events. When the transfer is complete previous registrant will be refunded and the new registrant will be charged for all participant to participant transfers. Distance transfers are subject to all fee increases as a result of the distance change.
