Race Kit Pickup

All participants in the in-person race or The Vancouver Special must pick up their race kit at race kit pickup (specific Vancouver location TBC). More information coming soon.

Important:

  • Bib number and corral colour will be provided to you in our last-minute information e-mail before race day.
  • Please bring a copy of your registration email confirmation AND a piece of photo ID to race kit pickup.

There will be no opportunity for registration on race day.

Directions and Parking

Getting to the Start & Parking

The run will start and finish on Cordova Street, near the Woodward’s Development.

The best and easiest way to get to the Start Area is to bike, as BEST will be providing a complimentary and secure Bike Valet right beside the Start/Finish Line.

The second best way to get there (and the best option for those coming from slightly further away) is to take public transit. To plan your trip, click here and select your starting location then choose Transit direction. Woodward’s is a short walk from either Waterfront Station or Stadium Skytrain Station.

A reminder that road closures will be in effect for the event, so please leave extra travel time. Recommended routes into Downtown are Hastings Street, Georgia Street, and Cambie Street Bridge.

Driving to the start line? The easiest access/parking option is to take Cambie Street northbound to Cordova, then turn right to access the parking garage off of Cordova Street. Note that this access route is only possible until 8:00 a.m., after which Cordova Street will be fully closed for the start of the race. If you are dropping someone off, please do so on Hastings Street.

Road Closures

Please anticipate delays and temporary closures on Race Day from 5 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Recommended east/west routes into Downtown are Hastings, Prior, and Terminal instead of Powell and Cordova Streets.

Baggage Check

Baggage Check will be open from 7:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the Woodward’s Atrium. You are strongly urged to check your bag early and leave yourself time to move to the starting line.

Recommended $2 donation that will go to our official Eastside 10K charities.

ONLY the Canada Running Series clear plastic bag will be accepted at baggage check. This bag is provided at race kit pickup with runner shirt and bib. All checked items must fit inside this bag. There will be no exceptions made to accommodate large items. The dimensions of the bag are: width = 14.5 inches / 37cm and length = 18 inches / 46cm.

Canada Running Series holds no responsibility for items checked in baggage check. Please only bring the essentials and leave your valuables at home.

Post-Race Area

Finish Area Entertainment

An announcer will call out runners coming across the Finish Line. Music and entertainment will be on site in the Post-Race Area, providing entertainment to participants and spectators. Awards will be presented after the run at the finish line.

Finish Area Refreshments

Water, nuun hydration, and a variety of snacks will be available to participants in the Post-Race Area. For those interested in a post-run meal or beverage, several restaurants are located just steps from the Finish Line.
