2022 In-Person Kids Run

The Vancouver Half Marathon Kids Run is an 800m event for kids ages 2 to 12.

• Kids ages 2-5 years old should run with a parent.
• Kids ages 6-12 years old are in a kids only division.
• All Kids Run participants will receive a Finisher’s medal upon completion of the event. This is NOT a timed event.

 Your Registration includes:

• Kids Run medal
• Kids Run shirt
• Kids Run bib

Race Kit Pickup

All participants in the in-person race must pick up their race kit at race kit pickup location: Forerunners – Main Street (3889 Main Street, Vancouver BC)

Race Kit Pickup Times:

Wednesday June 22 (Wednesday) – 10:00am to 6:00pm
June 23 (Thursday) and June 24 (Friday) – 10:00am to 8:00pm
June 25 (Saturday) –  10:00am to 5:00pm

Start Line

The Kids Run will start just north of the 21K Finish Line, in Vanier Park. The run will begin at 9:00am.

Course Restrictions

Entry Limits

Kids Run: Maximum 150 participants

Adults

Adults are welcome to accompany their children ages 2-5 during the Kids Run at no additional cost and strollers are permitted to start at the back.

Finish Line

The Finish Line will be in the same location as the Start Line, just north of the 21K Finish Line in Vanier Park.

Port-o-lets

Will be available in the post race area of the 21K run, in the Museum of Vancouver parking lot.

Medical

Odyssey Medical and BC Emergency Health Services will provide medical services at the 21K finish line. A 200 m walk from the Kids Race Course.

Parking

Race Day parking is available at parking lots at the Museum of Vancouver, Vanier Park, and other lots on Whyte Ave for the 5K Start/Finish, 21K Finish and the Kids Run.
