Thousands of Quebecers living with lymphedema are counting on you!
On April 27, walk with us for the Lymphedema Association of Québec (LAQ)!
Lymphedema is a lifetime condition causing a swelling that people often seek to hide, distorting the arms or legs and obliging them to wear compression clothing and bandages. Lymphedema can occur at birth or often after cancer treatments. There is no cure, and treatments are partially covered by the RAMQ.
The money you raise will help the LAQ educate patients in self-management, to educate medical teams and to advocate the rights of the patients who are still faced with high costs to treat lymphedema.
NEW this year: raise more than $500 donations and the LAQ will refund, on request, your registration fees for the walk!
