How do I upload my results?

By | Post Race | No Comments

Once you’ve completed your race between May 4th and July 1st, follow these steps to upload your results to Sportstats. You will require a Sportstats account. Please note, it takes 48 hours from the time you registered to be able to upload your results:

  • Select ‘View Virtual Event’ under the Under Armour Spring Run-Off
  • Select “Submit Results’
  • Submit your results via a GPX file from your wearable device, or you can enter them manually
  • More detail on GPX files uploads available in the Virtual Race FAQs

You can upload your race result more than once if you improve your time, but please be mindful that this may not be the time to run a PB. Run well within your ability to keep yourself and those around you safe.

Once your results are uploaded to Sportstats, you will have the chance to win some awesome prizes from our race partners! Prizing will be based on participation, not performance, so everyone has an equal chance of winning.

Are there any Virtual Race Safety Tips ?

Virtual Race Safety Tips

  • Complete your race solo. Do not run with anyone else, unless they live in your household
  • If you are running with someone from your household, run single file, allowing others to pass you easily and safely
  • Avoid high traffic pedestrian and vehicle areas. Run or walk close to home in your neighbourhood during a quieter time of day.
  • Adhere to social distancing practices* while you are out running or walking. Can you safely pass someone? Can you run safely on the road? Make sure you always have a safe way to move around people to maintain 6 feet of distance.
  • Complete your run on treadmill, if this is an option that is available to you and that you would prefer.
  • Wear appropriate clothing. Be visible and dress for the weather.
  • Bring water and/or nutrition if you’re planning a longer route. There are no water stations along the way in a virtual race.
  • Carry a cell phone with you during your virtual race and tell someone the route you’re running in case of an emergency.

* follow the advice of your local public health authority, to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

Why did you previously offer the virtual for free to already registered participants and are now charging $35?

Following our most recent communication in March, we received a lot of feedback about what we were offering. We realized we needed to give you, our customers, more choice about what to do with your registration. In order to do this, we needed to add a fee to register for the Virtual Race. This fee allows us to give you an even better experience that includes a shirt, a medal and special offerings from our partners.

I want to donate my entire credit to a charity. How do I do that?

On behalf of all our charities, thank you!! These times are especially tough for them and we are so appreciative of your generosity. Although we are not able to donate your entire entry to a charity, our Virtual Race option allows you to donate to one of our official charities while supporting Canada Running Series. This option also allows for you to participate in a race while continuing to fundraise for your charity.
