Tumour Foundation of BC

The Tumour Foundation of BC empowers children and adults living with neurofibromatosis (NF) through research, support and education. NF is the most common neurological disorder caused by a single gene. NF tumours grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to deafness, bone deformities, learning disabilities, disabling pain, and cancer. NF affects more than two million worldwide and is more common than cystic fibrosis, Duchenne’s muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s disease combined.
