The North Shore Restorative Justice Society is raising money to support our Schools program.
Since 2013, we have been providing weekly strengths-based Circles to hundreds of children and youth across the North Shore. Circles gives children and youth the skills to transform conflict, heal relationships, and create stronger communities.
Trained facilitators sit in Circle with students, teachers, administrators, and support staff, and lead a series of developmentally appropriate activities and discussion that result in a greater awareness of themselves and others. Topics include identity, diversity and stereotyping, communication, empathy, peer pressure, mediation and conflict-resolution skills, self-inquiry, community building.
